About me

Picture
My name is Christos Tombras.

I am a member of The Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research (CFAR) and the College of Psychoanalysts - UK (CP-UK). My work abides by their strict codes of ethics.

In addition, I am a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and of the College for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis Council.

I work in English and Greek.

My private practice is in Willesden Green, London (NW2). Please click here for details.

Apart from my clinical work, privately and in the NHS, I have also managed, for a number of years, a Supported Living Project for people with chronic mental health issues in North London.

I hold a PhD in psychoanalysis from Middlesex University and am committed to continuous professional development. My research interests concern a dialogue between contemporary philosophy and psychoanalysis.

I participate regularly in CFAR's psychoanalytic training programme, and am regularly invited to give seminars at other psychoanalytic / psychotherapeutic organisations. I have published articles in English and Greek.
My book discussing Heidegger with Lacan, “Discourse Ontology”, is out from Palgrave.
